Beneath the Surface:
When we offer assistance to others, it's not always evident how deeply it affects them. In most cases, people may not express their gratitude overtly, but a sense of appreciation lingers within them. They may not know how to thank you, but deep down, they're genuinely thankful. This unspoken gratitude connects us on a fundamental human level, fostering bonds of kindness that transcend words.
2. The Unspoken Bonds:
It's a fundamental belief that when we extend a helping hand, we don't do it with an expectation of receiving something in return. However, there are moments in life, particularly as our parents age, when we hope that someone else will step in and provide assistance. This longing for assistance for our loved ones reflects the interconnectedness of humanity. We understand the significance of aiding others because we, too, hope for the same when faced with challenges.
3. The Ripple Effect:
The beauty of helping others doesn't stop at the act itself. The aftermath of extending a hand is equally profound. It fills us with a sense of fulfillment and warmth, creating a cascade of positive emotions. This feeling of goodness becomes a driving force, inspiring us to continue doing good deeds and sparking a chain reaction of positivity.
4. A Call for Compassion:
However, it's important to acknowledge that we can't always help everyone in need. Life presents various circumstances, and sometimes, our capacity to assist is limited. In such cases, it's essential not to add to the problem by creating unnecessary obstacles. A simple act of empathy, understanding, or a word of encouragement can go a long way in those instances where direct assistance is not possible.
If we can give a helping hand why not, most of the time people do not feel anything, but there’s something behind. The person who received your assistance might know how to thank you, but deep inside he thanked you. I also believe when you do something, we ask for nothing, but sometimes when our elderly parents are stranded, we hope someone also give the helping hand.
Most important after the deed, you will feel good. When we feel good, many more good things just string along.
If you can’t help, it’s alright, but don’t add problem to it.
