Finally, I declare the book as complete, yup it’s my birthday today, and you have to give it to me, I am so thankful, specially to my wife, Jaser Yap, that made everything possible, and my 3 children, this are some values, take a peep, “be who you want to be, (be the good and kind one) and not what people want you to be.

A general summary of The Time Is NOW.

Why worry? If you are worried about the things you are in control, there’s nothing to be worried about as you can steer the way you want it to be, but if you are worried about things you are not in control, why worry you can’t control it, there’s not much thing you can do. You can deal with it with whatever outcome it brings.

Mindset – Everything you are going to do is about mindset.

If you are going to do in a good, happy, positive mood and mindset everything will surely turn out good.

And as you have decided to take the assignment, why not keep it really simple and good, and you will well complete it with the best knowledge of how the work can be done.

But if you have doubt about it, or just because you have to do it, (forced to it), not willing to do it. Shift that thought, you know even though the contribution of effort is nothing less, because that’s me, it matters to me, well done or not. Mainly, I am a well-done person.

Relax – come back to do it, when you feel better. Do get yourself setup and ready to work on it than jump in hastily and drop out eventually.

If you decided to do it, do your best, you will overcome it.

Is this the only thing you can do? Or prefer to take a bigger challenge, take on something more difficult

Opinion of me from others – we can’t control what people say or comment, we can’t please everybody. We can’t be affected by the opinion or flattery. If you walk a little faster, they are all behind us, so long as your conscious clear, I think don’t bother. There is so many things to catch up than this small talks, small talks are for small people, we are the executive, mind you. There it’s over and done.

Comment from others is like a present, if you don’t accept “the gift” you will not have that give, so why bother, filter don’t accept. You don’t have to accept what you don’t like, it’s never rude, as they are not considerate. So why bother. Unfortunately, they might not have the chance to see the best performance by you.

Be kind to others – We might not be meeting each other again as we cross this path today, so why must we make a “lousy” day for the person that cross your path wrongly, let it go, we are all human, we make mistakes, we grow old too, we will be in such situation too, we also seek forgiveness.

Be kind to others 2 – It’s nice if you can give, it means you are better off, and when people thank you, you feel good too. Believe me, you will want to do more.

Be kind to others 3 – It is not necessarily a gift of money, even pressing the button, or stopping the door from closing is also nice.

You can choose to work with stress or not – Yes, there’s many scenarios,

Working for someone – of course, it’s your choice in the beginning, you choose to walk into the company, (remember, how you fight to get in?) Your attitude towards it depends on you, you choose to be happy at work then you will be happy, but if you choose otherwise, otherwise happens.

Solution: Learn job in depth, create the interest further, work closely with people with same attitude, stay away from people who feel that they do less they get same pay and can walk away with it.

Working for yourself – It’s definitely nice if everything falls in shape the way it should be, there are the rules that’s set by you, everything is on your own. But if things don’t work out the way its plan, don’t just give up.

Solution: Ensure you have alternative plans. (there’s also a say: “when 2 partners always agree, 1 of them is useless, - argument and debate to an agreed point.) Make rectification and adjust to the situations, there is always a solution to a problem. Inside every adversity lies the seeds of equivalent or better benefits. It’s not called a failure, it only that your plan is not sound enough, but if you adjust and alter you will soon come with a solution soon. When will you succeed? When you run out of reasons to fail, you will then succeed, have you tried every possible option, how many secret weapons and formulas you have not fully utilised to counter the problem. Think hard, get suggestions if trap, talk to people, get coach, go for a walk. Come back later to face it with all you gut.
